Real Weddings: Algenib + Jose
“I’ve got an angel/ She doesn’t wear any wings/ She wears a heart that can melt my own…” Pure poetry, sang by Jack Johnson, and the song that our bride, Algenib, walked down the aisle to meet her handsome groom, Jose.
Algenib + Jose were married at the adorable Casa Feliz on March 13, 2020, and their day was filled with love and celebration!
The bride and groom chose a very minimalist and elegant theme to their wedding, playing off of soft neutral tones and their natural setting of the venue.
The lovebirds started with their ceremony out on the venue’s front lawn, where the bridal party walked down to “La Vie en Rose” by Edith Pilaf and the bride walked out to the song, “Angel.” During his vows, Jose was the absolute sweetest, saying that God sent him an angel and that he loved his bride “to Pluto and back.” How incredibly SWEET was that?!
After the two were pronounced husband and wife, they walked back down the aisle to “L-O-V-E” by Nat King Cole and had lavender thrown in celebration.
Once the reception began, it was time to have ALL the fun!
The bride and groom chose to be traditional and have a bouquet toss to “El Anillo” by Jennifer Lopez, and then the garter removal and toss to the songs, “Earn It” by The Weeknd and “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars.
DJ Jennie kept the entire dance floor packed with some fun Latin music and Top 40. The couple ended the night with the song “Dance Monkey” by Tones and I. And while their guests gathered outside for a bubble exit, Algenib + Jose shared in their last private dance together to the song, “Blessed” by Daniel Cesar.
Congratulations Jose + Algenib! We wish you a lifetime of happiness!!
