Real Events: Mallary + Ryan
Some wedding dates have a significant meaning for couples. For Mallary and Ryan, this was clear. Married on February 1st, 2020, the two became one that day. Held at one of our favorite venues, Club Lake Plantation, their special day was one for the books!
The ceremony was such an emotional moment under the big oak tree, and the two sealed their vows with a fairy tale kiss. They strolled back down the aisle to Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder and their family and friends were all smiling from cheek to cheek as the couple took their first steps as husband and wife.
After a Sinatra- and Bublé-filled cocktail hour, guests were welcomed into a warm barn-style reception room lit up by our amber uplights. The bridal party was introduced to Walk this Way by Aerosmith, which brought up a fun atmosphere for the reception that never faded! The two shared a stunning choreographed first dance to You Make It Easy by Jason Aldean. And the father/daughter dance was a unique switch up from My Little Girl by Tim McGraw to My Girl by the Temptations.
Another testament to how unique this wedding was, they had a bagpipe solo performed after dinner and a Game of Thrones themed cake!
Mallary and Ryan love all different styles of music, from 50s and 60s to Top 40, Country, and Classic Rock. So as their DJ, they gave me a lot of good music to work with! The dance floor started off with a bang as all the guests got glow sticks to party with. All the fun was captured by Kristy & Vic Photography and it was just as fun as the pictures look! From Latin to Country, this party gave everyone something to dance to! The dance floor was packed all night!
The night ended with a last dance to Save the Last Dance For Me by Michael Bublé and a grand sparkler exit. Throughout the day it was clear that the two were truly in love and we are so honored to have been a part of one of the most special memories these two will ever have!
