Real Wedding: Nick + Lauren
Nick and Lauren aren’t just one of our couples, they are true artists, fellow Orlando wedding vendors, and friends.
Much like their photography, their wedding stood out and showed true character. It was the perfect reflection of who they are as people, as a couple, and as artists!
They asked us to travel with them to Savannah, Georgia, to fill their dance floor and carefully curate their musical vision. It was an easy “YES” for DJ Kristin to pack up her equipment and make the trip to create endless special moments for Nick and Lauren.
Their special songs were more than special—they were personal, and chosen with intention and heart.
Nick and the bridal party walked down the aisle to the track “Princess Zelda” by Eric Buchholz. Even though the wedding was in Savannah, like true Orlando Locals, they incorporated their Disney favorites into the ceremony, playing “When You Wish Upon a Star,” and holding a Tea Ceremony to the song “Nowhere to Go but Up” from Mary Poppins.
We kicked off the reception grand entrance with the iconic theme song from the video game Kingdom Hearts and went right into the first dance which was “Here I Am” from Star vs the Forces of Evil.
Once the dance floor started, it did NOT stop!!! We burst the confetti cannons to Lady Gaga, waved glow sticks in the air like we just didn’t care, and threw down for the Hora Loca featuring everything from “Neverending Story” from Stranger Things to “Let’s Get Loud” by Jennifer Lopez.
In their professional lives, Nick and Lauren provide a unique and personal service to their own clients and take photos that shine with energy and charisma. It was an honor to be a part of their wedding day that truly emanated their personalities, style, and of course – their love for each other.
