Samantha + Kenny Hernandez

Leap Days are special in the fact that they only happen every four years and are considered a lucky day in many cultures. If that’s true, then Samantha + Kenny were one of the luckiest people this year when they exchanged their vows on Leap Day at the beautiful Bella Collina in Montverde, FL. They held their ceremony down on the lawn with the cocktail hour at the reflection pond.

The reception was held in Bella Collina’s ballroom and we provided champagne uplighting to help illuminate the space.

The couple had a GORGEOUS floral arch with a neon “Te Quiero” sign at their sweetheart table and danced to Baby I’m Yours by the Arctic Monkeys as their first dance with cold sparklers to add extra pizzazz. During dinner, everyone listened to 80s, 90s, and throwback jams as well as enjoyed the open air photo booth, provided by Photobooth Rocks!

After dinner, dancing began and the uplights were switched to party mode to help get the party started.

The couple were able to help shoot off a CO2 canon on the dance floor and had glow sticks handed out to their guests that were personalized with their names and wedding date! Besides country, the newlyweds wanted to dance to everything from 2000-2020 including bachata and salsa music.

If you want to listen to some of what was played that night, DJ Kristin recorded it and uploaded it to MixCloud here.

The lovebirds ended their reception with a last dance with everyone to Lover by Taylor Swift and as everyone was getting ready for the grand exit, the two shared in a last dance alone to Happily Ever After by Jordan Fisher.
