Taylor + Joey Machesko – Bella Collina
“Loving You Easy” are three words that make a great song by Zac Brown Band but also perfectly describe the atmosphere on Taylor + Joey’s special day. Guests were escorted to their seats on this crisp February evening, with a gorgeous view from the great lawn at Bella Collina. The Italian-style piazza was the perfect backdrop for the newlyweds to say their I DO’s!
Cocktail hour was spent at the reflection pond, surrounded by intricate Tuscan-inspired design details that created a beautiful place for everyone to come together. Light bites and a mix of string quartet Disney songs and classics like “Dancing in the Moonlight” by Toploader had guests bobbing their heads and tapping their feet, ready to dance the night away with the new Mr. + Mrs.
The reception space in the ballroom was a luxurious mix of gold, white, and cream colors, with amber uplighting provided by Our DJ Rocks. The pops of colorful flowers provided by the centerpieces really made the tables come to life!
The new Mr. + Mrs. Machesko were introduced to the Main Title Song from Game of Thrones, and moved right into their first dance. You could see the adoration between the both of them, and feel the love throughout the room! They each had a special moment with their parents as well, selecting songs that had a great deal of meaning to them:
First Dance: “Love Someone” by Jason Mraz
Father-Daughter Dance: “Cinderella” by Steven Curtis Chapman
Mother-Son Dance: “Forever Now” by Michael Buble
Our newlyweds also had another special surprise for their parents. They played each of their wedding songs during dinner! Joey’s parents re-lived their special day to Elvis Presley’s “Love Me Tender, and Taylor’s took a walk down memory lane to the Honeydripper’s “Sea of Love.” How sweet are those moments!
Speaking of sweet, the couple and their guests had a beautiful and delicious cake created by Le Petit Sweet, and they cut it together to the song “Loving You Easy” by Zac Brown Band.
After all the formalities were done, DJ Kristin and DJ Sam quickly filled the dance floor and kept it rocking all night long! Those amber uplights that set such a romantic mood for dinner turned into an incredible light show we like to call Party Mode, where they change color to the beat of the music! They’re an amazing addition for couples who really like to get their party on after dinner ends.
