Casey and Jake’s Classic Historical Wedding

We are always honored whenever a couple asks us to help them celebrate their special day, and Casey and Jake were no exception!

This couple was incredibly sweet and put on an incredible party. From the garden setting at a historic venue to their magical sparkler exit, every moment was filled with beauty and love.

Historic Venue 1902 was new to us at Our DJ Rocks, and we figured that you would enjoy seeing how Casey and Jake transformed this hidden gem into a beautiful ceremony and reception.

The Ceremony

The ceremony took place in the private Wedding Garden, surrounded by friends and family. This stunning geometric arch was the perfect combination of rustic and modern. After exchanging their vows in the shadow of the ancient oak trees, Casey and Jake shared a drink—in personalized cans!

The Venue

Historic Venue 1902 was originally built as the Sanford Grammar School in the year—you guessed it—1902! For many years, the building functioned as a museum. Today, it allows couples to make their own history as a wedding and event venue.

Plus, the incredible Romanesque Revival architecture makes for a great backdrop in wedding portraits!

The Reception

Casey and Jake had plenty of room to make their grand entrance as husband and wife. The crystal chandeliers and white draping created the perfect ambience for their first dance together. And there was plenty of room for dancing after dinner!

We always love when a wedding has a moment of the unexpected. For Casey and Jake, this involved a special surprise guest. That’s right, Knightro took a break from his collegiate duties to wish the happy couple all the best in their lives together!

This wedding was an absolute blast but, like all good things, it had to come to an end.

As their guests got ready for a sparkler exit, Casey and Jake took a few moments for a private last dance. This is one of our favorite parts of any wedding and we are always honored to be a part of it!
