Real Events: Marissa + Kurt’s Romanic Event

In the heart of Orlando, there is this sweet oasis of a venue called The Acre, and that’s where our couple, Marissa + Kurt, tied the knot on January 25, 2020. The weather was absolutely perfect for this outdoor wedding as the guests gathered near the vine wall to start the ceremony.

The ceremony consisted of music covers by the United Guitar Players with the processional being “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” and “Here Comes the Bride” for Marissa’s bridal march. As the two of them exchanged vows, Marissa started tearing up and Kurt had a hankie handy just for her! It was so sweet!!

As soon as they were pronounced Mr + Mrs Muilenburg, the two of them walked back down the aisle to “I Choose You” by Sara Bareilles.

Guests were treated to cocktail hour with easy listening tunes until they were invited back to the roofless room for the introductions and special dances with the newlyweds.

Marissa + Kurt’s parents and bridal party walked in to “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” by Justin Timberlake while the two lovebirds walked into the reception to “You Make My Dreams” by Hall & Oates. They transitioned into their first dance which was “Tennessee Whiskey,” a personal favorite of their DJ, Kristin!

After, they went into parent dances where Marissa danced with her dad to “Beautiful” by Christina Aguilera and Kurt danced with his mom to “Have I Told You Lately” by Van Morrison.

After dinner, it was time to PARTY!!

Kurt + Marissa and their guests danced all night to genres from disco, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.  All of them ended the night with dancing to “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole.

Kurt + Marissa, we want to wish you a lifetime of love, health, happiness! Congratulations!
